Adele is back in the spotlight as her new single, “Hello” captures the heart of millions. The singer is no stranger to heartbreak and expressing her emotions through song as we have seen in her previous album, 21. Her newest single sounds like she is talking to an ex; although she explains that the song is not about any one person. Adele says that she has fully moved on from the ex she wrote about in her previous album in 2011. Addressing this topic, she said to Rolling Stone magazine that “If I were still writing about him, that’d be terrible,” she says. “‘Hello’ is as much about regrouping with myself, reconnecting with myself.” She goes on to explain the lyrics, “hello from the other side”. She made a comment to Rolling Stone saying that, “It sounds a bit morbid, like I’m dead,” she says. “But it’s actually just from the other side of becoming an adult, making it out alive from your late teens, early twenties.”

As far as her current relationship goes, Adele and her sons father, Simon Konecki, are together. She tells the magazine that they have always been together and never separated. They do not however feel the need to get married, as having a child was a big enough commitment.

Adele’s new song is spreading like crazy. Many people have already parodied her new single, including Ellen DeGeneres. Take a look at her take on ‘Hello’ and see if you can hold yourself together.

‘Hello’ has even inspired girls to text their ex boyfriends, and the responses are hilarious.

Jokes aside, Adele’s new song is unsurprisingly amazing, as always. Her new album is titled 25. The singer is now 27, but she explains to Rolling Stone magazine that the title of the album is named after the age she was when she began working on it. As of now, she doesn’t have any set plans to go on tour, although she is considering it. Until then you can be on the look out for her album releasing on November 20th.
