If you’re from New England, you know how crazy the weather can be; especially being from Boston, you better know how to layer! The mornings can be crazy cold and then get really warm or vice versa! So depending on the weather, you may want to shed layers or add on a few through out the day. We have compiled a guide to get you through the Fall and Winter months ahead with our guide to layering and the perfect pieces for it!
Lots of girls are scared of layering because they fear looking bigger, but if it’s done right you will nail the look!
How to layer . .
1. Start off with a basic, light-weight top, or even a graphic. When starting with a basic, we recommend starting with a neutral color, making the next layers easier to match.
2. Your next layer should be a cardigan, breathable sweater or a long sleeve button up. Here is your chance to go bold with color, texture or prints, like plaid!
3. Then comes your jacket or coat.
4. Your look is not complete until you have added the finishing touches like a beanie/hat and scarf. Add on some bracelets and rings to really pull your entire look together.

Layering Tips. . .
+ The closer the layer to your body, the more fitted they should be. Keep in mind this keeps you from looking bulky and slims you down.
+ Have fun and layer different materials, different textures and different prints
+ Layering is not just for the Fall/Winter! You can surely layer in the warmer Spring months too!
Layering Is NOT just for tops!
Keep those legs warm too! Add tights and knit knee-high socks to those stems too! Pair booties to step out in style.
Layer on those accessories. Layer necklaces of different lengths to dress up any old basic top. Stack bracelets with watches or hand chains. And dress those fingers with knuckle rings, stackable rings and more rings!
