The 2014 Billboard Awards; What You Missed

In case any of y’all missed the 2014 Billboard Awards that aired last night, we are here to cover the essentials like best dressed celebs, Kendall Jenner’s mishap, and special guest appearance by Michael Jackson–say whaat!? Yes, you read that correctly.

Carrie Underwood in a very embroidered chartreuse Oriett Domenech gown.  Not many people can pull off such a color, props to you, girl!

Kesha really tones it down and looks very put-together in this black and white lace mermaid gown.

Shakira dares to wear a form-fitted long sleeve dress in ocean blue hues.

Miranda Lambert is looking younger every day!  The fitted hot pink deep plunge dress and simple pumps did her well.

For the men, John Legend looks dapper in matching button-up and suit jacket.  He understands less is more.

And to match that handsome man above, Chrissy Teigan takes a risk in this unique white and black mini-dress.  Her shoes are my fave!

Jennifer Lopez makes history this year, as she is the recipeient of the Billboard Icon Music Award.

J-Lo is the first woman to receive the BBMA accolade, past winners of the Icon Award include Neil Diamond, Stevie Wonder and Prince.

What’s an awards show without #bloopers?  The adorable fashionista Kendall Jenner arrived to the event looking chic with younger sister Kylie.  In the midst of an announcment it seemed as though Kendall froze up a bit, almost announcing the wrong act.  In natural fashion, Jenner simply laughed and continued to read the telepromter.  Despite her [caught] mistake, we still think she rocked it!

Swooning over these outfits.

Last but not least, check out what the hype is all about!  The King of Pop Mr. Michael Jackson makes an asounding suprise appearance, performing ‘Slave To The Rhythm’, as a hologram, of course.
